Description
A tapered awl is a very useful bearmaking tool. It is used to separate the threads of the fabric thus creating a small opening to facilitate the insertion of glass eyes, slot head, cap screws, cotter or t-pins in your bear.
Never cut you fabric when inserting the joints. Using an awl you separate the fibres, if want to change the position of the arm/leg, the hole will close, a cut will not.
