Glass Eyes- All glass eyes are hand blown, and available in Black and Brown.
German – These eyes have a wider loop at the back. You will need to crimp this loop to fit it through the eye position hole.
English – These eyes have a narrow loop at the back. You do not need to crimp. These eyes are not available in the shop.
TIP:Take care when closing the loop at the back. The wire is fragile and can easily snap off. Use a strong thread- I use a waxed thread or artificial sinew, when attaching eyes to head.When tying off the thread make sure you come out as low as possible under the head. You do not want to have the knot visible.
REALISTIC EYES
All Realistic eyes are imported. When placing an order if wanting more than 3 pairs please check that stock is available- email: lck@mweb.co.za
When using these eyes, do not crimp the back loops, they will break off. Ensure the eye hole is large enough to fit the back.
