Restoration, takes many hours of work. One has to be extremely careful as yo are working with old fabric, which can easily tear. You cannot “purchase” the same fabric, and one must age the fabric to get the best match.

In many cases the filling has rotted over the years or disintegrated.

I have given this up, as many people are abusive, and  not willing to pay for your time.

It is always a challenge to restore a old bear, and many customers are thrilled when they get a damaged bear back, looking like their original bear.

I know of no one in South Africa I can recommend to restore bears.
