His features are hand finished with black pearl thread and his characteristic red T-shirt is made from soft velour.
Steiff artisans crafted loads of personality into this 10 inch bear! His yellow coat is made from the finest Schulte RMS mohair. His soles are made of artificial suede. Pooh bear is 5-way jointed for lots of fanciful play. This fun friend’s nose and eyebrows are hand-stitched for expressive personality. As a finishing touch, this beloved bear is dressed in his iconic red sweater (which, of course, doesn’t quite cover his belly).
When Disney released their animated film in 1966, Winnie The Pooh & The Honey Tree, they put their artistic touch on the famous A. A. Milne character. Over the decades since, Disney has created many Winnie The Pooh cartoons and their version has become the most well-known and popular!
